How long will it take from the date of case is accepted until the Court opens the trial?

After the case is accepted, the Court has 02 to 04 months to prepare for the trial depending on each case. During this time the Court shall issue a decision to open the trial. For complicated cases, or in the event of a force majeure or an objective circumstance, the time limit can be extended but shall not exceed 01 month or 02 months on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the 2015 Code of Civil Procedure.

With regard to summary procedures, within 01 month from the time the case is accepted, the Judge assigned to the case must issue a decision to settle the case according to summary procedures and thereafter open the trial within 10 days.

For cases involving foreign elements, the Court shall open the trial 09 months at the earliest and 12 months at the latest after the issuance of the written notice of acceptance of the case.
