What is cassation procedure? What are the parties’ rights in this procedure?

Cassation is defined as the review of a Court’s effective judgment or decision which is objected to and brought to a cassation trial if there are grounds prescribed in the Code of Civil Procedure.

Upon the finding of a violation in a Court’s judgment or decision, a party may file a petition to a competent person prescribed in the Code of Civil Procedure for consideration under the cassation procedure.
